New Brewing Setup

So after making the big move, I now get to brew in a new kitchen. The stove is a glass top electric stove and it speeds up my brewing by about an hour. I decided to brew our wheat beer that I will be making for the wedding as well as a Kolsch for the very first time.

Aaron and I are also working on a beer review on youtube. You should check out viewfromthetap and see what we think about the different beers that we try. We are also working on a blog where you can suggest beers that we should try and give your opinion about what you think of our reviews.

Hopefully I will be able to keep more current on my blog and keep everyone updated further.

New Year of Brewing

So I got the chance to brew today. I brewed up a IPA version of my pale ale for Tweak's "Man Shower". Hopefully it will turn out ok. I had a little trouble with this batch as I got a stuck mash. Besides that, everything went alright. Should end up around the high 6% to the low 7%. Reading Kyle's blog, I thought that I should also make some Brew Years Resolutions.

So here we go:

1. Perfect my Blue Collar Amber and my light wheat beer.
2. Volunteer as much as possible to brew professionally.
3. Take business classes to learn how to open my own brewery.
4. Brew all the beer for the wedding.
5. Read all of my beer books to learn all I can about starting my own brewery.

I am sure that I will think of some more things later, but I will figure it out later
